In 2023, Gothic Gets was established in defiance of the fashion industry's rising cost of gothic and alternative fashion.
Our Story
Growing up in South Texas, finding gothic or alternative threads was difficult amongst the thrifts shops, boutiques and department stores that catered to those that pervade their wardrobe with coastal living fashion.
When making trips to larger cities with my parents, I found that not only was there an array of gothic and alternative fashion available, but it was pricey. How could that beautiful velvet, rhinestone collar cost $24.99? I could buy a rhinestone collar for less than that at the local pet shop! I thought, "If only there was a store that catered to our niche fashion palate that was reasonably priced and available to anyone, anywhere". I vowed that someday I would have a solution to this atrocity.
In 2023, Gothic Gets made its debut on the Whatnot platform with curated items auctioned off from $1 to no more than $5. With it's success, Gothic Gets garnered the means to break into the online retail industry.
Our Products
Gothic Gets works with multiple distributors to get the best price on fashion jewelry embellished with spikes, rhinestones, lace, bats and other familiars. We even went to our local wholesaler and found that our prices are below their wholesale prices.
